Hi There! My name is Kristin Lajeunesse and my aim is to help you find clarity around and navigate through the trazillions of ideas you’ve got running through that fantastic brain of yours.
If you’re extremely passion-driven, hard working, and motivated to create a lifestyle and possibly even a business, around the thing(s) you most love in life, then we’re going to get along swimmingly.
In the fall of 2011 my life changed drastically. Unlike a number of those who inspired a shift in what my life once looked liked, I wasn’t experiencing some crazy out-of-my-hands life trauma that caused me to shake things up. No, it was entirely by choice.
My life was good.
A few years prior to my 2011 “life renovation,” I had graduated from Emerson College with a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communication, landed a steady 9-5 job at a non-profit that I supported, and loved living in Boston. I also had a healthy and loving relationship with my live-in partner. But something felt off.
While clumsily exploring what the ‘off’ feeling was about I began researching entrepreneurial endeavors. There was a part of me that always knew I wanted to be self-employed. I wasn’t making a heck of a lot of money at the non-profit job so I figured, why not start working toward my own business of some kind, on the side. That’s when I started taking on marketing and business clients.
Fast forward to some point wherein I found inspirational readings from people who called themselves “lifestyle designers.”
From that moment on my life changed forever. Learning about people who were designing their lives and their careers around things they loved most, creating full-time nomadic opportunities, working from the road, living wherever there’s Internet. I was beyond sucked into this world and knew there was no going back. I wanted that kind of lifestyle too: the freedom to create my own daily schedule and travel whenever the moment felt right!
Somewhere along the self-discovery line I came up with an idea to quit my job, sell all my stuff, and move into a van so that I could travel full-time while trying to eat at all of the vegan restaurants in the United States. Yep.
It took me 2 years, 18 months of which I spent living in a renovated Chevy van. I visited 48 states and dined at over 500 restaurants. The project was called Will Travel for Vegan Food.
As you can imagine my life would never be the same after that journey.
The best part? Through following this one crazy dream it opened doors to some of the most inspiring and unique opportunities possible (international travel, meeting hundreds of unique people, new income streams, wild stories, and even my first-ever book deal).
I was also given the opportunity to revisit what I’d come to learn I loved most: helping others learn how to turn their passion projects into profitable careers.
And so here we are.
Since the formal portion of my road trip ended, in August 2013, I’ve been helping others learn how to realize their crazy ideas and big dreams—creating actionable and tangible steps along the way…
…enabling me to combine my background in communications, my love of creative marketing, and my gift of business-gab all into one!
In short: I help overwhelmed entrepreneurs and small business owners gain clarity around their business model and modes of income, learn to network both on- and off-line like a pro, and turn that passion project into a profitable career.
